Smells a bit oily and heavy, with sweet tropical fruit aromas leading the charge. The palate is creamy and oily feeling, with honey, nutmeg, banana and melon flavors. Fleshy on the finish; best if taken well chilled.

"Torrontes is no wallflower white wine, and its flavors are variously described as floral, exotic (lychees, white peach, nutmeg, lime), but to us it is reminiscent of a toned-down Gewurztraminer. It's hard to stop sipping it! Try it with flavorful appetizers, Thai food."
