A dense and ripe wine, with lots of sultana character on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a medium finish. Falls a little short. A bit rustic now, but should come around with a little bottle age. Best after 2010.

You'll get harmony here and well integrated oak shadings at the back of cherry, vanilla spice and blackberry. This is a genuine and straightforward Brunello that does a good job of representing the territory and the traditions of winemaking in Tuscany.

Description:
Ruby red color, tends to garnet red with ageing. Complex aromas with hints of violet and forest fruits with essences of plum and cherry combined with oak shadings, vanilla spice and blackberry. On the palate the wine is warm and velvety, shows a well-integrated balance of tannins and acidity. Rich structure and great elegance. Enjoy it with red roast meat, noble game and aged cheeses. Serve at 64F or age for years at 55F.
