| Attractive ruby in color with some orange in the edges. On the nose, medium intensity, the earth hits first, dirt and chalk then some sour cherry, dried fig, anise, clove, and leather. On the palate, medium + intensity, mouth watering acidity left the impression of real juicy fruit, some smoke and dirt. I really like weight on the palate. Most experts agree that Italy makes some of the finest wines to have with food. |
