Expanded horizons contribute to a new and exciting direction for Rock Rabbit Sauvignon Blanc in 2009. Vineyards from Clarksburg made their way into this year's blend. These grapes contribute a stone minerality and brings a lightness to the overall texture. Further flavors include grapefruit, white peaches, and a floral note of white flowers. Our 2009 shows a bit more acid or citrus zing as we like to refer to it. That's great for pairing with foods. Favorite winery pairings from our staff include grilled shrimp, fish tacos, duck carnitas, fresh oysters, fruit salad, seared sea scallops or perhaps a Caesar salad.
