This wine comes from the grape varietials cabernet franc (80%), merlot (17%) and tempranillo (3%), harvested in the first days of September. The wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks while pumping over the must up to 8 times a day. Maceration is done in contact with the skins during several days after completing the alcoholic fermentation. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to barrels of American oak (85%) and French, where the wine remained for 7 months. It was bottled in June of 2006, with a total production of 18,000 bottles.TASTING NOTESIntense color, almost completely opaque.
