(375ML) Clayhouse Estate Late Harvest Petite Syrah
Our Price: $30.99

Glass-staining purple. Seductively perfumed scents of ripe boysenberry, plum and incense. Lush, creamy dark berry flavors are given a bitter edge by cherry skin and anise. Quite sweet and jammy, with no rough edges and impressive finishing cling. There are plenty of table wines out there that are warmer and less elegant than this wine. These grapes were harvested at 28o Brix and the wine was bottled with 8% residual sugar.

Alfaro "A" Santa Cruz Mountains Estate Pinot Noir
Our Price: $23.99

A is for Alfaro. In this case it's also for ace, because finding this high-value wine feels a bit like having one up our sleeve. "A" blends fruit from three high-density, low-yielding hillside vineyards located just four miles from Monterey Bay: Alfaro Family Vineyard, Lindsay Paige Vineyard and Ryan Spencer Vineyard. The sites' various clonal selections, exposures and elevations create a pinot noir that is balanced and fresh. Notes of raspberry, vanilla and baking spice on the nose give way to a cornucopia of cherry flavors on the palate and the perfect tension between fruit and integrated tannins and acidity.
