An incredible example of an old Tawny port. A rarity, as few houses will make a 40 year old tawny. This wine is olive gold in color with rich caramel, butterscotch, hazelnut flavors. The concentration in this port also produces a wine with amazing length, which lingers beautifully in the palate.

Only every two or three years is a reserve of port with sufficient structure, fruit and power to age, produced from Taylor's own vineyards, laid aside to age in oak casks. Those that have reached their peak after thirty years are then blended together for balance and finesse, and to ensure consistency of quality and style. The 30 year old tawny shows incredible length with smooth butterscotch and caramel flavors.

Clear and bright, intense garnet colour, with crimson reflections. Lively refreshing aroma, notes of spices, cinnamon, white pepper. The deeper bouquet is of notes of wild berries, black plums and cistus. Very smooth and fresh on the palate, with silky tannins, balanced and easy to drink.
Excellent as an aperitif and very good to accompany light dishes (soups, starters, salads...). We especially recommend it with meat carpaccio and with grilled meats.

Esteva 2007 has a very bright red ruby hue. Its bouquet is dominated by ripe red fruit (red currant and raspberry), as well as by a slight violet floral component. Its complexity arises both from the careful selection of blends from Douro recommended vine varieties and from its evolution in the bottle.
