Power, structure and complexity are the three characteristics of this wine. These qualities are partly the result of the diversity of altitude and orientation of the eight Clos de l'Obac vineyards, all of which are sited around the town of Gratallops. The "coupage" is of five grape varieties of which those from more than fifty year old Garnacha and Carinena vines are the most important. They bring to the wine its fine balance and its unique personality.

Garnet-colored, it offers up a complex perfume of slate, lavender, cassis, and black cherry. It falls on the feminine side of Priorat with an elegant personality and racy flavors.
